Welcome
to our hive

EdiBee, where art covers food, we're passionate about delivering the very best food covers on the market. Our covers are designed to make you smile with their fun fabrics, exceptional quality and eco footprint.

Welcome to the enchanting world EdiBee, where innovation and sustainability meet to redefine food cover solutions.

Our journey began when we couldn’t find washable food wraps on the market. With our background in the food industry, we understood the importance of keeping food safe. This led us to create EdiBee’s food covers, which are not only food-safe and washable, providing you with a hygienic option, but they also eliminate the need for disposable materials. Infused with artistic flair, our food covers also add a touch of charm to your kitchen. After all, we believe that food tastes better in a beautiful environment!

Our Company

EdiBee embarked on its journey in 2020, initially opening its doors in South London. However, more recently, we’ve taken a new step by relocating our headquarters to the picturesque town of Altea, Spain. It’s from this charming setting that we not only serve our local community but also extend our reach across Europe.

Our mission at EdiBee is simple yet profound – to create sustainable and aesthetically pleasing food covers that go beyond mere functionality. These covers are crafted with care to keep your food safe and fresh, reflecting our commitment to both practicality and visual appeal.

Frequently Asked Questions

We hope that we have been able to answer many of your questions.

Still, can’t find the answer? No problem, we would love to speak with you! Contact us here.

The most important part is to clean the liner of your food cover. The liner is the waterproof side that is in contact with the food.

For a quick rinse, turn inside out, wet under tap, add a little washing up liquid, clean & rinse. If it is quite dirty, or been in contact with (raw) meat, or other perishable foods, simply add in your washing machine. If there is velcro fastening, just close this before popping into the machine. You can wash our covers in 30C or 40C, do not pre-wash and don’t use fabric softener. You can airdry your covers or put them in the tumble drier. If you want to iron any covers, only do so on the cotton fabric side (not the liner!).

The liners in all our food covers, bags and wraps is made from special food-grade, waterproof and washable fabric. The liners are CPSIA certified (US Consumer Product Safety Commision), 100% eco-friendly and durability tested (300+ washings). The fabric is manufactured with no harmful chemicals, no toxic solvents and no toxic waste or VOCs that are harmful to the environment.

We try to make our sizes as clear as possible in each product description. We currently offer 8 different sizes bowl covers:

  • Oven trays: for bowls and trays up to 33cm
  • L-Covers: for bowls and plates up to 29cm. Typically for a larger dinner plate
  • M-Covers: for bowls and plates up to 24 cm. Typically for a pasta bowl, or a breakfast -plate
  • S-Covers: for bowls and smaller plates up to 17cm. Typically this will fit a breakfast cereal bowl, or a coffee saucer
  • XS-Covers: for small bowls up to 13cm. Smaller ice-cream bowls (for example the IKEA Kalas plastic bowls)
  • Yoghurt covers: for yoghurt pots
  • Lemon covers: our second smallest covers up to 9.5cm diameter, for lemons, oranges and other fruit
  • Cucumber covers: these are our baby covers, especially designed (often with left-over fabrics) to cover the sliced side of your cucumber

Well, you can really use either. In the kids’ school bags, we usually like to use the bags. You never know how much they are throwing around with the contents of their bag. But when going for a picnic, a wrap may be better. The advantage of a wrap is that it opens up and can be used as a little plate for your sandwich too.
